Binos With Camera How Would You Determine The Dec And RA Of An Object?

How Would You Determine the Dec and RA of an Object? - binos with camera

Ok. You are in the open, with a pair of Binos or scope without indicators. You see something interesting in the night sky. What would you use or need to take with you to determine the purpose of the RA and DEC? Pt given the informative answer links if they are useful.

One possibility is to measure the height and azimuth of the object, then referring to his horizon. Then there are mathematical formulas (but with a lot of sin and cos), which can be immediately to RA in December, and enter your location (latitude and longitude) and time.

A second is to be sought between nearby stars and try to find this model on cards or cards of stars from the sky, shows the lines of December and the values of PR. (Of course, the RA and Dec, regardless of location and time)
